About Aspire Health Partners Bay House
Aspire Health’s Bay House is located in Sanford, Florida. It’s a short term residential treatment center with 12 beds for people battling serious mental health issues and or substance abuse. I noticed that there are staff on hand 24/7, and you’ll share a room with one other patient and common areas with everyone else.
Empowerment & Treatment
They specialize in empowerment and individualized treatment with this transitional program. They have help with medication management, supportive counseling, social setting and leisure activity training and education groups.
I like how they help with life skills like cleaning, budgeting, shopping, and personal hygiene. They also have dual diagnosis groups, crisis intervention groups, and help with community reintegration.
Activities & Other Support
Everyone staying here has to participate in their activities throughout each day. Activities like Charlotte’s Place Clubhouse, Turning Point Psychosocial Rehabilitation and their supportive employment programs. There’s also a case manager onsite when needed.
They say that 80% of patients here are able to move out and live on their own or into a less restrictive recovery environment after staying up to 90 days.
