About Aspire Health Addictions Receiving Facility
The Addictions Receiving Facility, operated by Aspire Health, is a facility that provides stabilization and medically supervised detoxification to adult men and women. It’s located in Kassab Plaza in Orlando, Florida, just off of Interstate 4 near Lake King. The facility operates 24/7 to help individuals struggling with substance use disorder or co-occurring mental health disorders. Admitted clients stay for seven days before receiving continued services at an Aspire or community treatment program.
The cost of treatment can be paid for through insurance, private pay, SAMH or sliding scale fees.
You’ll typically begin by undergoing an assessment and screening. A medical professional will get information from you about your drug history, your medical history and other relevant information. Assessments and screenings may take an hour or more to be completed. After gathering the information, Aspire Health will determine whether medically supervised detoxification and stabilization is the appropriate level of care for you to begin with.
Addiction Receiving Facility accepts individuals who are voluntarily and involuntarily admitted. Under medically supervised detoxification, staff members will do their best to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible while you’re going through withdrawal.
After you’ve completed the withdrawal process, Aspire Health can refer you to their other locations for other services, such as medication assisted treatment (MAT). In the medication assisted treatment program, you’ll receive medications such as methadone and Suboxone to help manage your cravings as you undergo counseling. Counselors can teach you coping skills and stress management to help you with maintaining your sobriety.
Orlando is known for its many theme parks that can provide you a fun way to enjoy life without using substances. There’s Frances Jerry Park right next door to the center, where you can unwind by Lake King and exercise. Hungerford Lake is on the other side, right across the street.
