Founded in 1979, the center provides addiction treatment programming licensed by the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. 30 Day Residential Programs
This initial stage of care is available for roughly 30 days, with residents benefitting from 24/7 support while on site. While here, you will be prohibited from leaving the campus or working, to encourage greater focus and commitment to recovery.
During your stay, you must hit all the benchmarks set by your primary counselor before moving onto the next phase of care. I noticed that 20 residents are permitted on site at any given time, with supervision provided by 5 counselors. Support staff and technicians are available at all times.
Gender Specific Outpatient Programs in Savannah or Jackson
Following residential care, you may move on to IOP. Gender separated, the women’s program takes place on the main campus in Jackson, while the men’s IOP is located either in the Jackson facility, or here in Savannah.
Programming typically lasts around eight weeks, during which participants may choose to live in transitional housing. In these transitional homes, residents are responsible for paying their rent and doing their share of chores and housework while also attending local 12 step meetings.
