About Asian American Recovery Services
Asian American Recovery Services (AARS) provides many culturally competent services to the Asian other ethnically diverse communities in the San Jose, California area. They serve youths, adults, and families in San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Alameda counties. AARS is part of the HealthRIGHT 360 family of programs.
AARS offers culturally oriented, gender-responsive programs run by a multilingual staff. Clients can come for outpatient substance use disorder treatment, mental health treatment, case management, community outreach and education, substance use and HIV prevention, and HIV testing and counseling.
THey also offer services specially for minors. They run school-based mental health services for students and juvenile justice and probation youth services. This includes prevention, outpatient substance use and/or mental health treatment as well as social support.
In addition to all these clinical services, they also run community-building activities that are tailored to your culture. You can join in social activities for youth, adults, and families.
