I noticed they accept many types of insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid. They offer charity or financial assistance for eligible individuals.

The hospital is easily accessible from State Route 31. The behavioral health clinic is in the hospital on the medical center campus and there’s easy access to parking.

Coordinating With a Primary Care Doctor

If you need specialized or advanced mental health or SUD care, your primary care doctor will assist you in connecting with the services and specialists that are best for your situation. The treatment team at the behavioral health care center will give you the recovery options that will work for your unique needs. These may include inpatient or outpatient addiction and mental health treatment.

For me, it stood out that clients have frequently mentioned the knowledgeable, supportive and caring clinicians. Many have noted that the treatment team members have listened attentively and compassionately collaborated with them on a personalized care plan.

Eating Disorder Programs

The behavioral health center offers hope and help for clients with many types of behavioral health disorders, in addition to SUD. I noticed that they offer specialized care for clients with eating disorders, including avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and anorexia nervosa.

The eating disorders program includes a partial hospitalization program that includes extended and weekend hours. Clients receive 30 hours of treatment per week. They also offer an inpatient care program through Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago that includes private rooms for clients 18 and older.
