About Addiction Solutions Counseling

Addiction Solutions Counseling Center (ASCC) is an outpatient substance use disorder treatment center that offers comprehensive support for people seeking sobriety in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Along with actually providing sobriety support, there are a variety of other mental health supports offered here. They have 12 step programming, trauma related counseling, intervention and even anger management course work to help you learn how to better manage life’s stressors.

Mount Pleasant is home to Central Michigan University, Island Park and the Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture and Lifeways, which can provide plenty of opportunities for positive and sober recreation as you recover.

Step Down Outpatient Care

Not everyone can take time away from life’s responsibilities to participate in a residential program. Thankfully, ASCC offers a range of outpatient programs. Along with an outpatient medication assisted treatment (MAT) solution, I like that you can choose between the regular or intensive outpatient program which is more rigorous, but still offers flexibility to work around your schedule.

Meanwhile, you’ll still have access to essential care which includes behavioral and therapeutic counseling. This can be motivational interviewing, trauma related counseling, brief intervention, and even relapse prevention.

Likewise, I appreciate that ASCC offers access to 12 step facilitation, anger management courses, and even trauma related counseling to understand underlying issues that can trigger addiction.

Care for Everyone

ASCC provides care for adolescents and adults facing a variety of issues in their lives. This can include pregnant and postpartum women, military members, LGBTQ+ individuals, people that need dual diagnosis care, trauma and sexual abuse survivors, and people referred by the court system.

ASCC accepts private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid, and federal funding programs. They also offer a sliding fee scale based on demonstrated need.
