About Arizonas Children Association

Arizona's Children Association was a statewide nonprofit providing outpatient behavioral health services in Surprise, Arizona.

When this location was open I've found, served youth, adolescents and families with mental health, behavioral health and social-service needs through individual, family and group therapy.

Founded in 1912, the organization delivered trauma informed, culturally and linguistically responsive care designed to support children and families where they are.

The Surprise program focused on children and families, offering outpatient counseling, trauma care, skill building, behavior management and case management.

As a longstanding nonprofit, Arizona's Children Association brought more than a century of experience in child welfare and behavioral health to its community-based services.

When it was open, their care I've found, was delivered in flexible settings including home, school, the community or at local offices, depending on each family's needs.

Sessions emphasized trauma informed practices that address underlying challenges while building coping skills, healthier behaviors and stronger family connections.
