About Archway Programs’ Headquarters
Archway Programs is a nonprofit human services organization headquartered in Atco, New Jersey offering behavioral health support through its ACT Partial Care program for adults age 18 and older.
Its behavioral health services focus on adults living with mental illness, using individualized recovery plans and group therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
Founded in 1965, I appreciate how Archway emphasizes individualized and strength based care across an integrated continuum of programs.
Care for Adult Mental Health
Archway's ACT Partial Care is a structured day treatment program designed for adults managing mental illness, with consumers attending a minimum of two days per week and referrals accepted from any source.
The program combines psychiatric evaluation, medication management and individualized treatment planning within a supportive group setting.
Sessions incorporate a cognitive behavioral approach alongside illness management and recovery, therapeutic groups, and expressive therapies like art and music, meditation and yoga.
I want to note that care coordination is supported by an on site RN, with medication monitoring available through on site and telehealth APN support.
Whole Person Support
Beyond clinical care, ACT Partial Care helps participants build independent living and socialization skills through gender specific and peer support, pre vocational and psycho education groups.
The program also provides breakfast and lunch, a computer lab, community trips and transportation to and from the program, creating a well rounded model of daily support.
