Proven Medication For Stabilization and Maintenance

Staff members will follow specific guidelines to help you achieve stabilization. Stabilization is when you have no withdrawal symptoms and no uncontrollable cravings. The next phase will be maintenance, where you’ll continue to abstain from using substances for two to eight weeks, with toxicological samples taken monthly to hold you accountable.

I also noticed that the facility can taper you off the medication if you decide that you’re ready to begin a tapering schedule. It’s ideal for clients to begin when they have stable housing, income, and psychosocial support.

Community Service to Support Your Recovery

I like that The Boston Center has paraprofessional staff who will help you get access to community based services such as housing and healthcare. The service also features a 24 hour crisis line and coordination with other healthcare providers.

An additional service provided is the Recovery Support Navigator, which is available to clients who have substance use disorder and a co occurring mental health disorder. You’ll receive temporary transportation to appointments and help with understanding your treatment options.
