Whole Person Integrated Treatment of Mind and Body

I like that the staff at Anka Behavioral Health believed in treating the whole person by integrating the care of mind and body to achieve sustainable recovery. Their mission was to eliminate the impact that behavioral health problems have had on individuals in the community. They had several facilities across the Northern California region, including in Concord, Stockton, Antioch and Fresno. They also offered treatment in Southern California and one in Michigan for veterans.

They provided a continuum of care that ranges from crisis intervention and stabilization to ongoing recovery. The staff’s goal was to meet the needs of children and adults with intellectual disabilities, U.S. veterans, individuals involved with the criminal justice system and those experiencing homelessness.

Traditional and Innovative Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Each factor impacts substance use disorders. It's good to know that Anka also provided traditional and innovative substance abuse treatment opportunities that included residential and outpatient treatment at various locations across Concord. The specialty programs integrated treatment to meet your needs so that you could receive the care you needed within one healthcare system.

We like that Anka also provided crisis residential treatment and transitional residential services to address the community's needs. Vocational services, criminology, and treatment for those with intellectual disabilities or developmental disabilities were also available.
