About Anderson & Associates

Anderson & Associates Counseling Services began providing court ordered substance abuse services in 1984. Since then, they’ve developed their education and treatment services to meet the growing needs of clients and incorporate new advances in the field. They have an office in Hemet, California.

You’ll need a referral from the justice system to be seen here, but once accepted, you’ll find they have a range of programs to meet legal needs. It’s not just about meeting legal requirements, though: the program will help you cultivate healthier thought patterns and make better decisions going forward. This is a private pay facility.

Programs for All Needs

There are programs here designed for a variety of sentences, including deferred sentencing. They vary in their requirements, but typically they all involve education and treatment (group and individual). How often you’ll meet with classes or meetings depends on the program you’re in.

I like that these programs don’t try to homogenize the treatment experience and instead accommodate different needs based on the severity of offense or addiction. It echoes the idea that there’s no “one size fits all” solution to addiction treatment, but at the same time shows that thoughtful counselors and teachers can rise to the occasion and help anyone.

Post Program Support

Some of these programs include exit meetings between you and your treatment team. While not quite aftercare, these meetings go over what you’ve learned, what you plan to do in the immediate future, and how you’ll continue to meet any remaining legal requirements. Think of it as an extra set of eyes on your future sobriety plan.

Open Up to Recovery

An important part of any substance use disorder recovery plan is making time for yourself to slow down and simply be. Hemet’s outdoor attractions, like Diamond Valley Lake and Simpson Park, are perfect for spending time unwinding and enjoying your sobriety. Spots like these are great for replacing old habits and destressing when you encounter challenges in recovery.

Residential drug rehab provides the comforts of home with the therapeutic support needed to successfully recover. Benefits of an inpatient program include increased safety, a higher success rate, and the time and distance given to focus on recovery. Residential drug rehabs are often the preferred method of treatment, as they can be tailored to meet specific needs, offer focused therapeutic care, and provide the necessary tools to sustain recovery.
