About Anasazi Foundation
Located in Mesa, Arizona, the Anasazi Foundation is a nonprofit addiction treatment facility for adolescents aged 12-17. A world-renowned behavioral health program, the Anasazi Foundation offers outdoor wilderness therapy for teens struggling with substance use and mental health. Fully licensed by the state of Arizona and accredited by the Joint Commission and the Association of Experiential Education as an Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare Provider.
The wilderness program at Anasazi Foundation is offered for 49 or 56 day and during their stay, youth will spend time in the wilderness of Arizona, camping, hiking, and cooking. During the program, participants will learn how to build shelter, process emotional challenges they’ve been experiencing, and learn new coping skills. The program learning will count as high school credits. This is not a boot camp but a supportive program to help teens walk through their problems in the great outdoors. Each participant will have their own master's level counselor who will work with them and with their family.
Insurance coverage, financing, and private pay options are available.
