The intensive outpatient program (IOP) still allows people to live at home but requires that they attend more frequent weekly sessions for additional sobriety support. I found that the partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a hybrid program that’s technically still an outpatient program but requires participants to spend significant time at the center every day while living at home.
