Services for a Range of Different Groups
Their program treated a wide variety of patient populations, among them adults, seniors, adolescents, and transitional age young adults. Veterans, active duty military, and their families have a dedicated place at the facility. I appreciate that members of the LGBTQ+ community were made to feel welcome. They also had special programs for pregnant and postpartum women, and those with HIV/AIDS. Surviors of trauma, sexual abuse, and domestic violence were treated as well.
Outpatient Treatment Under the Matrix Model
By emphasizing evidence based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), and the 12 steps, they offered regular outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. Individual, group, and family counseling is provided under the matrix model. They also had anger management and relapse prevention services. Nicotine cessation treatment was available to those who need it.
I like that reviews called out the professional and caring staff, describing the environment as welcoming and comforting. One client said that it’s “the absolute best place in El Paso to go.”
