About Back On Track

Located in Henderson, North Carolina is the Back on Track outpatient treatment center. This center offers a Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) that works with men and women who are struggling with drug and alcohol use. They accept select insurance policies, and there is state funding through the program Cardinal Innovations. They also take Medicaid as well.

The clinic is close to different residential neighborhoods so it's easy to walk here if you live nearby. I like the fact that even if you don’t live nearby, they offer transportation services so that you can get to and from the clinic when you need to.

There are several services here that I find helpful to recovery from substance use. For example, if you have a co occurring mental health diagnosis, they can provide treatment and medication management. Mental health can impact substance use so having both under control is essential.

Their case management services are also really beneficial. Through case management, you can get connected to appropriate treatments, therapies, and even community resources if they apply to your recovery.

Along with their evidence based approaches to care, their support groups are a great way to build meaningful relationships as you move through recovery. This clinic serves both men and women, but some of their support groups are gender specific depending on the topics discussed.
