All Family Resource Center in Kissimmee, Florida, helps people who are in crisis or dealing with behavioral health challenges. They offer behavioral modification classes and counseling as well as online classes. This small independently-owned clinic has been in operation since 2007.

Substance Abuse Evaluations and Treatment in Kissimmee

You can get a thorough substance abuse evaluation through All Family Resource Center. This assessment evaluates whether you have a drug or alcohol addiction. Then it provides a diagnosis and determines a specific treatment plan for recovery.

Treatment for substance use disorders can vary based on the needs of each client. Generally, they include a mix of individual, group and family counseling. Topics covered include relapse prevention, healthy coping mechanisms and goal setting.

One of the things I like about this agency is that you can pay for just the services you want. You can opt for just the assessment or also take a substance abuse orientation course. They also have a one-hour drug awareness class for folks who want to educate themselves on the risks of drug use and addiction.

I like that they also offer other behavioral modification classes like a batterers intervention program and a parenting course. Their anger management and impulse control classes are both four or eight hour sessions that I can imagine would be beneficial to anyone dealing with addiction.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program

All Family Resource Center offers a special program to help clients who are living with mental illness. In it, you’ll learn how to gain the skills and resources to cope with your challenges. This program uses a holistic approach that teaches clients how to develop self-awareness, advocate for themselves, refine problem solving and develop communication skills. They also teach participants useful life skills like career planning, budgeting and time management. The program is run by mental health professionals, social workers and other clinicians.
