Situated in Birmingham, Alabama, Aletheia House Outpatient Treatment is a structured addiction treatment facility for men and women, with a specialty in treating individuals involved in drug court and those who are uninsured. Offering inpatient and outpatient evidence based practices and individualized treatment plans, Aletheia House has been providing substance use treatment and related services since 1972.
There are several programs available at Aletheia House: a 48 bed men’s program, and two 16 bed women’s programs, all located in Birmingham and free to those who are uninsured. The Women's Hope Program addresses the needs of pregnant individuals with children. Other services include medication-assisted treatment, affordable housing, healthcare, HIV services, youth services, and veteran programs.
Aletheia House has received national recognition for its work in the community, including the Maxwell Award of Ex from the Fannie Mae Foundation, the John J.
