About Alano Club

Located in Redding, California, Alano Club is a meeting house for Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. AA is a spiritual-based program that uses the 12 Steps and traditions to help people get and stay sober.

The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop drinking. Members generally obtain a sponsor who guides them through the 12 Steps of AA. Members also share with one another their experience, strength, and hope; raise donations to fund the Alano Club; and engage in service commitments. Meetings range from women-only, to men-only, speakers, book study, and other topics. AA meetings are offered daily at varying times to accommodate a variety of schedules.

All AA meetings are free. However, members may be referred to additional alcohol or drug rehab services that charge for treatment. Insurance providers such as Aetna, Cigna, Beacon, TRICARE, and Blue Cross Blue Shield may provide coverage for some or all of these treatment costs. Always verify coverage and out of network benefits directly with your provider before enrolling in a program.
