Situated in the lake country of Southcentral Kentucky, Addiction Recovery Care - Lake Hills Oasis is a private lodge that serves as a retreat style treatment center. Their holistic drug rehab program is an ASAM level 3.5 program, offering CARF accredited clinical treatment protocols, combined with a Christ centered spiritual emphasis including 12 step philosophy. Residents receive a comprehensive assessment and evaluation, medical stabilization, integrated mental health services for co-occurring disorders, and an individualized treatment plan. Program activities include individual and group therapy, 12 step work, recovery support groups, attendance at AA meetings, skills training and education to develop: communication skills, recovery support, relationships skills, and relapse prevention training.

Addiction Recovery Care also offers medication assisted treatment (MAT), as part of their outpatient program. MAT involves the use of certain medications, like buprenorphine, and counseling to treat alcohol and opioid use disorders. It is considered the gold standard of opioid use disorder treatment by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and is endorsed by SAMHSA.
