About Access Counseling Group

Access Counseling Group is an outpatient mental and behavioral health care facility for youth and adults in Frisco, Texas specializing in intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP), and aftercare programming. Dedicated services are available for adolescents, young adults, seniors, justice involved persons, and persons with co-occurring addiction and mental illness. DUI/DWI education classes are available.

Clients receive medical and mental health and personalized care planning and engage in intensive individual, group, and family counseling drawing on proven modalites, including CBT. The program is based primarily on the family systems model of recovery and prioritizes age specific recovery education for all family members. Recovery curricula may address topics such as coping, self care, wellness, communication, anger and stress management, frustration tolerance, and relapse prevention.

Their aftercare services ensure a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include step down support and referrals for further medical, mental health, and social service programs.
