About Acacia Wellness Center

Acacia Wellness Center now goes by Summit Psychiatry and Family Wellness. It’s still a comprehensive health facility located in Nampa, Idaho. They treat people for overall wellness, including mental health issues. The staff provides counseling to people of all ages for substance use disorder (SUD) and alcohol use disorder.

Clients are given full psychiatric evaluations as well as medication management. This is an outpatient facility that offers both group and individual therapy. Although the office is only open Monday through Friday mornings and afternoons, they have crisis services for people with mental health emergencies.

Dual Diagnosis Care with Spravato

Some people who suffer from mental health conditions struggle with SUD at the same time. People who struggle with depression often self-medicate with illegal and prescription substances.

I was impressed that this facility is a certified SPRAVATO treatment center. SPRAVATO is a nasal spray that is used in the treatment of depression when oral medications do not work.

Therapy Dogs

I love the fact that they have three trained therapy dogs on staff. They are all rescue dogs who love belly rubs and know how to give people high fives. It can be that little push to help you keep motivated.
