About Promesa Youth Facility

From a modern facility in the Bronx, New York, the Acacia Network Youth Residential Treatment Center specializes in treating substance use disorder in young men. They offer the Promesa RRSY Program. This is an intensive residential treatment program specifically tailored to young men aged 14 to 20 who’re living with addiction.

The integrated approach to treatment uses a dialectical behavioral therapy approach to help clients understand and manage their difficult feelings. Through individual, group, and family counseling they learn to better cope with triggers and improve relationships, so they can work towards making lasting positive changes.

Additional services include primary care, recovery support, social and community living skills, vocational counseling, recreational and cultural activities, discharge planning, and psychiatric services for clients with a co-occurring mental health disorder. Plus, there are onsite NYC Department of Education classes to enable clients to continue their education while in treatment.

The great thing is that services are provided in English and Spanish by experienced clinical staff, and there are options for short and long-term residential stays.
