The WorkBridge location is a community based program that works closely with the county juvenile court system, including youth who were charged or convicted of substance use. I saw that they offer youth services that provide opportunities to obtain meaningful employment while completing court ordered services or paying restitution.
The staff also have a stipend program that allows youth ages 10 to 15 years to provide community service in exchange for a stipend, which then goes toward paying their restitution. Their community program links youth with additional services to help complete community service and a job initiative for career exploration in youth ages 16 to 21 years.
Hundreds of Community Service Sites
WorkBridge works with hundreds of community service sites, providing enough opportunity to complete court ordered services. I'm impressed that these programs bring value to the community, as well as helping young people complete their community service obligations and receive assistance with life skills such as obtaining a state ID or work permits.
