About Evans abode

Abode Treatment is located in Forth Worth, Texas. This center provides outpatient addiction treatment for individuals involved in the criminal justice system. The facility was named by Newsweek as the 2023 and 2024 best addiction treatment center. What stood out to me is that they are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Many of the individuals that receive treatment have a social development deficiency. They may also have vocational and educational disadvantages. The programs they offer focus on behavioral health so they can get clients ready to re-enter society. I like that all of their programs are staffed by qualified credentialed counselors who are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Once you have completed a residential program, you will be able to continue to receive services through their outpatient substance abuse treatment program. The average time in this program is between six to 12 months. You’ll attend two hours of group counseling each week. You will also need to attend at least one hour of individual counseling per month.

During your time in group therapy, you’ll be able to build a sober community among your peers. You will be able to learn from shared experiences and not feel alone during your recovery journey for long term sobriety. With others on a similar journey, you will be able to create a supportive environment.

During your time in individual counseling, you take a deep look into addiction. Your counselor will help you identify your triggers and how to overcome them. You will also address trauma and what led you to addiction.
