About Able Recovery

Able Recovery is an addiction treatment center based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Various major insurance providers are accepted, including SoonerCare (Oklahoma Medicaid), Medicare, and IHS (Indian Health Services). Private pay options are also available for clients who don’t have insurance.

A Detox Center in Oklahoma’s Capital

Ahead of any treatment here, you can expect to undergo physical exams with a dedicated medical provider to ensure this is a safe option for you. You’ll also go through mental health questionnaires and assessments with a counselor, before putting together a personalized care plan with the team. Potential clients are expected to bring a picture ID and an insurance card, or make an initial payment on their first visit.

I think it's unique that a 90 day detox program is available here to those who may need it. In this program, clients are stabilized on methadone, often beginning with a small dosage like 30mg, ahead of gradual increases until cravings cease and stabilization is achieved. Past this point, doses are tapered. The program can sometimes take longer than 90 days, but this really depends on the client and their response to treatment.

Structured Outpatient Programming (SOP) and Intensive Options

Clients here can choose from intensive outpatient programming (IOP), or SOP as a less intensive alternative. Throughout both of these programs, you can expect to engage in ongoing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using Vivitrol, Suboxone, and methadone.

Alongside MAT, you’ll also take part in individual and group therapy sessions, allowing you to safely address the root causes of your addictive behaviors within a nonjudgmental environment.

I noticed that relapse prevention services are also provided, and family involvement is encouraged where possible. The overall treatment focus here is on empowering clients so they can regain control of their lives, and rebuild anew.
