About 7 Springs Ministry

7 Springs Ministries provides substance abuse treatment for men and women in Oxford, Alabama. The goal is to offer faith based restoration for the broken and empower them to become productive community members as they find hope and the love of God.

Men’s Re-Entry Program

One of the specialized programs I found interesting is their men’s re-entry service, where they partner with local court systems. They provide a six-month program for men leaving prison to offer them opportunities to recover and heal.

This service aims at reducing reincarceration and giving men a second chance at overcoming addiction. They have life skills training, a safe place to live and a substance-free environment while working on independence.

Women’s Residential Services

They provide two residential programs for women. One is in Oxford, and the other is in Foley, Alabama. Esther House in Oxford offers 24/7 support in a secure setting where women find restoration through biblical principles, 12 step recovery classes, parenting classes, job readiness training and relapse prevention. I think it’s neat that they also attend dance and art therapy and have case management services for community resource connections.

Women learn life skills to give them the practical methods to impact their communities and maintain sobriety. Movement is encouraged and Christ centered dance therapy provides fun and engagement with a creative way to worship.

Job placement is another unique part of the program that helps match jobs with interests, skills, and education. This service allows you to find a career path and live a self-sufficient lifestyle for sustained sobriety.

Amenities

Residential Setting

Residential drug rehab provides the comforts of home with the therapeutic support needed to successfully recover. Benefits of an inpatient program include increased safety, a higher success rate, and the time and distance given to focus on recovery. Residential drug rehabs are often the preferred method of treatment, as they can be tailored to meet specific needs, offer focused therapeutic care, and provide the necessary tools to sustain recovery.

Private Rooms

In order to maintain a sense of autonomy, many private rehab facilities offer clients the ability to choose their own private rooms. The privacy and personal space ensure that the recovery process is as comfortable as possible.

Private Rehab

Private drug rehab provides a comfortable, secure environment that allows you to focus on doing the work to get your life back on track. Benefits include a higher staff-to-client ratio, increased one-on-one time with therapists and healthcare providers, private rooms for clients, and customized forms of therapy.

Art Therapy

Art and music are mediums that connect with our feelings, making them a great recovery tool during addiction treatment. Studies show that combining art/music and drug rehab can have a greater therapeutic impact than drug rehab alone, as you’re able to access parts of your brain and body that you may not have access to during traditional talk therapy. Benefits of art/music therapy include lowering stress and anxiety, promoting healthy neurochemicals, and providing stress relief.
