About South Middlesex Opportunity Council Sage House

South Middlesex Opportunity Council Sage House is a nonprofit, community based addiction treatment program for families in Farmington, Massachusetts, near the Framingham reservoirs. This six to eight month program is designed for clients who are currently homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless, as well as their families. Clients and their families reside at the house during treatment, where they are taught how to identify their behaviors and given the skills to train them for a brighter future. They serve adult clients but accommodate their families. Services offered include residential treatment, individual therapy, group therapy, case management, education opportunities, vocational support, and life and coping skills development.

In addition to helping clients recover from addiction, the program's goals include developing healthy parent skills, reuniting families, fostering a healthy relationship between parent and child, and helping clients find employment.

As with any treatment program, clients are advised to check their coverages with their insurance plan, as in network and out of network benefits may vary.
